Committed to the “One University, Two Campuses” initiative, Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) and Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (UIC) have been providing world-class liberal arts education together in Hong Kong and Zhuhai. In 2023, the two campuses resumed the in-depth transdisciplinary integration after a three-year hiatus. On 25th October, 2023, HKBU and UIC presented the UIC 14th International Postgraduate Education Information Fair at the Zhuhai campus with great success. The event was supported by 60 universities and institutions worldwide, including some of the top 100 names as per the QS rankings, and attended by around 1,000 students in person or virtually. Aspiring students interacted and exchanged with the representatives of the participating universities and institutions with great interest as they took a big stride towards their dream of studying abroad.

A total of 27 programmes from HKBU were also featured in the fair, including five offline programmes and 22 online programmes. During the presentation session, over 50 faculty members of the University shared detailed information about the background, application procedures, admission criteria, curriculum design, scholarship requirements and career prospects of their programmes, fascinating the students with the colorful campus life in Hong Kong.

As the first live education expo after the pandemic, the fair was well received by the participants. Approximately 200 students visited HKBU’s booth and inquired about the details of furthering their studies at HKBU.

HKBU and UIC looks forward to nurturing more talents together in response to the integration and development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and to contribute towards the society further.
