Overview
At Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), we are committed to fostering engagement within and beyond our community through social media. In recent years, livestreaming has emerged as a new trend in social media promotion and has been widely used for branding and knowledge dissemination. Through livestreaming academic lectures, seminars, and other major events, the University successfully promotes academic exchange, cultural dissemination, and social engagement. This not only amplifies the University’s social impact, but also enables a wider audience to discover HKBU's academic accomplishments and innovations.
Currently, HKBU maintains four official social media accounts that are supporting livestreaming activities, including Facebook, YouTube, WeChat Video Channel, and Weibo. To submit a request, please refer to UEO Protocol for Requesting Social Media Postings and Livestreaming Services and complete the Livestreaming Service Request Form with details about the event you would like to livestream and your preferred livestreaming platform(s). If your request is accepted, our team will be in touch and work with you closely to enhance HKBU's visibility through hosting livestreaming activities.
