This October, HKBU’s School of Business announced the results of the "2024 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Pay and Benefits Survey", providing updated benchmarks for human resources indicators in various cities within Hong Kong, Macao, and the Greater Bay Area. Professor Huang Xu, Director of the Centre for Human Resources Strategy and Development of the School of Business at HKBU, shared insights in an exclusive interview about the initial purpose and evolution of the survey. He expressed hopes for further upgrades to the artificial intelligence system in the "My AI Salary Consultant" system, developed by the University, with the aim of attracting more companies to adopt it. By providing accurate data, the "My AI Salary Consultant" system can offer “light consultancy” services to enterprises, helping to reduce information asymmetry within the industry regarding salary and benefits."
