BU Stories
Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) has risen from the 101-200th band last year to 69th place in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2025. It has also maintained its second-place global standing in “SDG 4: Quality Education” for two consecutive years. The University finds the latest ranking results highly encouraging.
Besides, HKBU is ranked in the top 100 for nine of the 17 United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a significant increase from five SDGs last year. This demonstrates HKBU’s efforts to leverage its unique strengths in transdisciplinary teaching, learning and research to nurture outstanding talents, promote innovative research and the translation of outputs, and implement effective campus management and corporate governance measures. The ranking results will serve as a benchmark for the University’s continuous commitment to enhancing its teaching, learning and research endeavours.
